Do you guys have a courtesy car?
Yes. The courtesy cars are first come first serve with a 2 hour limit. We take a copy of your driver's license and credit card. If you keep the car past the two hour limit there is a $15/hour charge. Copy of credit card will be shredded upon return.

Is there a ramp fee?
Yes. There is a $2 per night fee. However, if you purchase fuel you will receive two nights of tiedown free. If you are only visiting for the day there is no ramp fee.

Are there rental car businesses located in the facility?
No. All rental car companies are located in the city. However, the rental car companies will bring the car to Hetrick Air Services for advance reservations. Hetrick Air Services does have on-site rental cars that you may reserve ahead of time or upon arrival. Please note that we do not always have cars available upon arrival, we can only guarantee a car if you call a head of time and one is available.

It's after hours and I can't reach anyone at the airport to fuel my aircraft, What should I do?
Hetrick Air Services has a call-out fee of $75.00 from 8pm til 8am. If you need to arrange for someone to be at Hetrick Air Services after 8pm and before 8am, please call Hetrick Air Services at (785)842-0000 ahead of time to arrange for a call-out. However, If you are here after hours without previous arrangements you can call the after-hours number (785)842-6332.

Does Hetrick Air Services have wingpoints?
Hetrick Air Services can issue points on your wingpoint card. We can also issue you a card if you are don't have a wingpoint card yet.

Can I have my aircraft hangared during the storm?
Hetrick Air Services can hangar aircraft during the storm if there is room for the aircraft. Pilot must call when they want the aircraft put in the hangar and when they want it removed from the hangar. Hetrick Air Services will not be responsible for judgement on when the aircraft should be put in hangar or removed during storm. There will be a one-night hangar fee for aircraft stored in hangar for de-icing or during a storm.

Can we purchase gift certificates for someone?
Hetrick Air Services offers gift certificates. Call Hetrick Air Services or stop by to purchase any amount gift certificate.

I want to fly over Lawrence for fun, how do I do that?
Call Hetrick Air Services to schedule and get a quote for a sight-seeing flight. It is a 30-minute flight with up to 3 passengers (depending on weight) free of charge!

What are your holiday hours?
Hetrick Air Services closes early on holidays. Thanksgiving day, Christmas eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day they will close at 6pm.
